My mom bought me some green apples to make desserts, and I think of apple pies. But I'm not so fond of tart crust, so I decided to make Puff Pastry Apple Slice Tart !
These kind of green apple is not like the Granny Smith.
Here's what I've found about the Puff Pastry recipe :
It's the easy way to make puff pastry, Carol also taught the original method to make puff pasty (click Here ). There are plenty of wonderful recipes in it, all of them have detailed instructions with pictures and some of them have tutorial videos, it's really great !
And there are other blogs taught me how to make the pastry into a delicious puff pastry tart.

✓ 1/2 cup ...... bread flour
✓ 1/2 cup ...... cake flour
( I use bread flour & cake flour to create all-purpose flour )
✓ 4 T ...... sugar
✓ 3/5 t ...... baking powder
✓ 1 pinch ...... baking soda ( A little pinch is enough, maybe I can try not to add it next time. )
✓ 30 g ...... unsalted butter
✓ 1/4 t ...... salt
✓ 1/3 t ...... vanilla extract
✓ 5/4 ...... eggs ( 1/4 egg is the leftover from making bread.)
✓ 150 g ...... pineapple
✓ 50 g ...... milk powder
✓ 30 ml ...... hot water
◆ Method :
1. Microwave the sliced pineapple for 1 minutes (high), so we can get the juice easily. ( or using pineapple can, in its own juice. )
2. Microwave butter with 1 T sugar for 2 minutes. (icing sugar would be perfect ! or you can put them in a sauce pan and heat it up.) And pour them into cake pan, and place some sliced pineapple on it.
3. Add 2 T of sugar and milk powder into hot water and microwave them for 2.5 minutes (depends on your microwave. Remember to heat and stir them gradually, don't do it all at once, or it will be scorched. ) to make sweetened condense milk. (Skip this step, if you have condense milk. )
4. Separate egg white and egg yolk.

◆ Tips & Reviews :
► I've add too much water into the batter, so it tastes like "Chinese steamed sponge cake".
► I think using 100% cake flour would make it more fluffy !
► Use icing sugar to mix with butter, it's easier to dissolved.
►While making condense milk, remember to heat and stir them gradually, don't do it all at once, or it will be scorched.
